I will also need to work on the coloring and shading, as well as the overall timing of the video.

Still, as far as testing the waters go, I think I have been able to figure out a lot of what this program has to offer. This week, I finished the last scene in my storyboard! I am incredibly excited to have completed this stage in my animation process, because once I receive my final critiques this Friday, I will finally start my animatic! Originally, I was planning to start my animatic this week, but I have decided that it would be better to start the process after I finish my last critiques, that way, I get a better idea of what to put in the animatic before I actually start.

In the final scene, the boy is shown walking towards the girl’s head. He kneels down and presents her ribbon to her. An exterior scene of the forest is shown (I will discuss with my classmates about a better transition on Friday). The final shots display the boy holding the head while the girl ties on the ribbon. The two of them look at each other and smile. Then, the credits will roll as the short movie ends. There are a couple of things I would like to discuss with my classmates before I move onto the final animatic. I would also like to know if they have a better way of getting the girl’s attention in scene 4 than the boy breaking the branch.įirst of all, I would like to know how they feel about my transition in scene six (with the exterior shot of the forest).

If they have any other compositional tips, I would gladly take them into consideration. Since we are about halfway through the semester, I was reflecting on the progress I have made. This project is turning out so much better that it would have had I been working on this completely alone.
